WHO WE ARE
We aim to create a community that feels like a
"home away from home" for international students.
AIM is a registered student organization (RSO) at UC Davis. Although we’re a Christian based group, we’re open to all international students at UC Davis! We often enjoy home-cooked meals, go on fun trips, celebrate milestones together, and expand our understanding about life through the lens of Christianity. We hope to meet you soon!
Connection Groups
At AIM, we know friendships grow best when you share what you love. That’s why we created Connection Groups — fun “smaller groups” where international students can connect through shared passions. Join a Connection group, make friends, and discover how AIM can be part of your journey.
American Cultural Exchange
Want to taste American food, explore Northern California, and practice English while making friends from all over the world? That’s what American Cultural Exchange (ACE) is all about! Come for the food and adventures—stay for the friendships that last a lifetime.
Girls International Friendship Time (GIFT)
GIFT is a warm community for international women students to connect, share experiences, and build meaningful, lasting friendships. Whether you’re new to campus or looking to deepen your circle, GIFT is a space for laughter, support, and memories.
Brotherhood, Recharge, Outdoors (BRO)
BRO group is a community of college men who want to build real friendships through shared adventures. From hiking trails and outdoor activities to cooking good food, this is a space to relax, explore, and grow together. Join us if you’re looking for brotherhood and experiences that last far beyond college.
Faith That Thinks
Faith That Thinks is a group for students who want to explore Christianity with intellectual depth and rigor. Together we engage big questions about faith, philosophy, and truth. Challenging assumptions, exploring rational thought, and seeking clarity in belief. Whether you come with curiosity or conviction, this is a space for intentional dialogue and thoughtful discovery.

RESOURCES
International Student Mentorship Program (ISMP) is a non-profit Christian organization with a network of volunteer mentors across the U.S. and in Asia. Their goal is to provide international students with a mentor who can guide them through their college experience in America. The ISMP Davis mentors are UC Davis alumni and would be happy to discuss any topic with you, such as resume help, understanding American culture, and much more!
